About You!

Okay, I know, blogs are most often about the owner or whatever interests them, but I actually would also like to know about you. Who are you, reader of my blog, and what interests you? Please feel free to share whatever you like to share, what you do, where you live, your blog, whatever you have on heart. It’s not only about me, but about us.

  1. AJ says:

I am AJ, a Muslim mom and an engineer currently living in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I moved here after nearly spending two decades in the USA and two decades in Pakistan before that. So I guess we have something in common where we have come close to our holy places after staying in the west for some time. Wishing you the best.

  2. qolyehudi says:

Assalamu ‘aleyckum w’rahmatullah AJ, and welcome:o)

Yes, it is funny how life (or probably more correct, G-D) leads you to places, you wouldn’t have imagined or at least only hoped to live, sometimes.

I hope that you and your family will have a good time down there, insh’allah.

    Kol tuv

  3. The Talmid Rebbe says:

I’m Mike, and I’m from Rochester, NY. I work as a Business Analyst and Business Intelligence professional, and I’m a musician and lifelong student in my spare time.

You have really wonderful material here. Im loving the Mishnah articles. They’re intriguing as is, but especially because I’m building my Hebrew skills right now. Since learning Hebrew means learning five languages, the differences you’ve found are yet another entertaining fly in the ointment!

I run my own blog that I update as I learn new things. http://thetalmidrebbe.com. I’d love it if you stopped by.

  4. qolyehudi says:

    Dear Mike

Thanks for the words, they are much appreciated. I just talked with a friend about the Mishnah articles, discussing whether they were too “nerdy”, so your post came just at the right time:o).

I’ve only taken a short look at your blog, but it seems very interesting. I’m certainly going to spend some times on your posts.

    Take care!

  5. Amani says:

As Salam Alaikum! You know me already lol but I’m Amani over at americanmuslimconvert. I’m a Muslim convert and I enjoy your page because it has opened to my eyes into a religion that I hardly knew about. The similarities between Judaism and Islam are interesting. Keep writing my friend. Salam, Amani

    • qolyehudi says:

      W’aleyckum as-salâm w’rahmatullah

I’m glad that I could give you some insights in Judaism:o), I hope I can keep on doing that, as well as learning more about Islam in the process.

And congrats on finding your “home”:o). I’m a convert myself, and I know how it feels to find the place you belong, sort of speaking. I hope you will grow strong and wise as a Muslim and true believer in God, inshallah.
